From an Inauspicious beginning as a pool technician/serviceman during the year 1974 with Gregorio Araneta Machineries Inc. in Valenzuela, Bulacan, which specializes in swimming pool and filtration business. Mr. Melgo in 1976, eventually sought employment as Pool Construction Head of McREN Industrial Sales, Inc. based in Manila in 1978, seeking greener pastures, he was hired as the Construction and Servicing Supervisor of Alpha Pools, Cebu Branch. Sensing the need for rapid growth, Mr. Melgo eventually started on his own as a swimming pool contractor in the early 80’s until establishing Janther, which prides itself as one of the best pool contractors in the Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao region as proven by its contented and satisfied pool and spa owners.
